Theater Arts Camp (July 22-26) This camp is the perfect opportunity for participants to understand the true meaning of ‘play’. The week is filled with discoveries and joy! One of our founders, Kaitlin Roney, writes original plays for children that are filled with delightful characters and meaningful messages. Each child will have a speaking role in the play, which will be performed at the end of the day on Friday. Everyone will participate in singing, dancing, costume-making, and scenery/prop creation. It is truly an immersive theater experience!
Program days run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Participants will take walking field trips to various locations within the West Irondequoit community. All participants will receive an Art Center t-shirt, and pizza lunch on the last day!
All participants are expected to bring a water bottle and snack each day, and those enrolled in full day should bring a lunch Monday-Thursday.
