Spring Break: Messy Science Art Camp 2026
Come to Art Center for an exciting week of science and art! Messy Science Art Camp is perfect for those who love to experiment and want to make art with unusual materials. Some messy highlights include making slime, elephant toothpaste, homemade puffy paint and invisible ink. We will also explore the science of simple machines and chain reactions. Think marble runs, marshmallow launchers and more! You don’t want to miss this hands-on, exploratory week of art and science!
Participants will receive an Art Center t-shirt, and pizza lunch on Friday from 2 Ton Tony’s!
All campers are expected to bring a water bottle and snack each day, and a lunch Monday-Thursday.

Drop In Figure Drawing
Join us for a live drawing session at Art Center. Please note, there are some weeks when there will not be any figure drawing. See schedule below for dates.
A nude model will pose on scheduled Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:30 PM. Artists may come at 5:30 PM to set up. Space is limited, and we operate on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. All levels are welcome.
Winter Landscape Painting Workshop
No experience is necessary. All are invited to join Kaitlin for an evening of painting, with complimentary wine and light refreshments.
Participants will be guided through expressive acrylic painting techniques, and leave with a beautiful winter landscape painting on canvas.
Santa’s Workshop Mini Camp
Join us for 2 magical days of holiday cheer, creative crafts, and festive fun!
Kids ages 5-12 are invited to a fun days of treats and gift making!
Kids will leave with handmade gifts using special art mediums like wood working, canvas art, ornaments, and more!
Includes up to 4 projects, with wrapping and a card making station! And all participants will also receive an Art Center Camp t-shirt!
Kids Night Out Christmas Party 2025
Kids ages 5–12 will spend the night making merry masterpieces with our awesome art instructors while you enjoy some grown-up time.
Christmas Ornament Needle Felting Workshop
Participants will learn basic needle felting techniques, and choose from a variety of projects. Each participant will leave this workshop with the personal tools and supplies necessary to continue their new obsession!!!
Children's Holiday Art Market
Art Center is excited to provide our youngest artists and entrepreneurs an opportunity to be a vendor and sell their original creations to the public. Each child has a station to display his/her artwork and keeps 100% of their profits! The cost to participate is $20, and open to children up to the age of 19. The event will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on December 13, 2025. Every vendor will receive an Art Center t-shirt!
Hand-Bound Sketchbook Adventure for Tweens
In this fun, hands-on workshop, tweens will design and build their very own one-of-a-kind sketchbook—totally from scratch. Participants will choose awesome cover materials, mix and match colors, and learn simple bookbinding tricks to fold, punch, and stitch their pages together. It’s a crafty mash-up of art, DIY, and creativity where everyone walks away with a personalized sketchbook perfect for doodles, stories, and big ideas. Designed for makers ages 9–13, this workshop is all about experimenting, expressing yourself, and having a blast while making something you can use and show off!

Kids Night Out: Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Art Center is hosting a 'Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ themed Kids Night Out on Friday, November 21, 2024. Children between the ages of 5-12 years old can come enjoy Charlie Brown Thanksgiving-themed art activities, crafts, games, and pizza from Two Ton Tony’s!
Two art instructors will facilitate the evening, while parents enjoy a night out! Your children will love attending this art party every month.
Space is limited. All participants must preregister. Kids Night Out fills up quickly, so be sure to register soon.
Art Opening: Imprint by Suzanne Jacobs
Join us for an evening of reflection and connection at the opening of Suzanne Jacobs latest exhibition, Imprints, an evocative exploration of human relationships, memory, and identity. This body of work invites viewers to witness the beauty and complexity of our shared humanity.
